Offerings

It is truly my passion and sincere wish to share with you what I’ve learned – both physically and mentally – over these past 20 years. I blend my experience and daily routine of running, hiking, yoga, and meditation to bring you the same well-being, calm and joy that has been life-changing for me.

 

I hope that through my hiking sessions, daily retreats, and yoga practices, you will feel refreshed and grounded, with a peace and stillness that will carry you on whatever life journey you may be facing. 

Please note that all my Day Retreats are in small groups to ensure everyone's well being. Half and full-day Hike & Yoga retreats can include a nutritious and delicious lunch, locally-sourced and supporting small businesses.

HIKING EVENTS

Rucking Series

September  22nd and 29th,  October 13th and 27th .

9am - 12pm

 

Rucking, hiking with a weighted backpack, is a fabulous way to improve strength, cardiovascular capacity, caloric burn, balance and bone density. Weight bearing exercise without a gym and while you enjoy being outdoors and on the trails. We will meet as a group, load our packs with weight ranging from 5-20 pounds and embark on a scenic 6-8 mile hike. Option to  join hike without the weight as well.

$35 per session, includes guided hike, weights and snacks.

Intro into Trailrunning

September  27th,  October 18th and 25th .

9am-11am

 

Discover the excitement and benefits of trail running with my "Intro into Trailrunning" experience. Designed for beginners, this offering covers techniques from proper form to foot placement to pacing on various terrain. You'll build endurance, leg and foot strength as well as improve your balance while deepening your connection to nature. Whether you're looking to enhance your fitness or simply explore a new outdoor adventure, this intro to trail running will leave you feeling empowered and energized.

Meet at Oakwood Valley trailhead . We'll go at easy pace, perfect for beginners. $45 per Person.

Annual Holiday Tam Circumambulation

Sunday December 15th

8:30am-5:00 pm 

Join us for this festive and gorgeous Hike following the traditional route started in 1965 by poets Gary Snyder, Allan Ginsberg and David Whalen. We will start at Muir Woods (50 feet elevation) and work our way up the Mountain, circumambulating East Peak (2,571 feet) where we will enjoy picnic lunch before heading back to Muir Woods, ending with German Glühein and some good Holiday Cheer.

This approx. 14 mile strenuous hike explores some of the best trails and vistas Marin has to offer.

Space is limited to 10 . Lunch provided. No Yoga. $130 per Person.

Discover the true essence of core strength in our “Empower Your Core” yoga class. This class goes beyond traditional ab workouts and delves into the comprehensive world of core muscles that encompasses your entire midsection. We’ll explore the pelvis, glutes, hips, back and front muscles of your torso - the central part of your body, sometimes likened to the trunk of a tree.  

Like a sturdy tree with strong roots and a solid trunk, a well-developed core is the foundation for the rest of your body’s movements. By engaging and strengthening this vital area, you’ll experience enhanced balance, stability and overall physical health. 

We will flow through a series of dynamic and mindful poses designed to activate and challenge all aspects of our core. Learn how to properly engage each muscle group, preventing your body from relying only on the strongest muscles, safeguarding against overuse and achieving balance.  

Whether you are a seasoned yogi or beginner, the increased power, flexibility and mobility will enrich your daily life and elevate your overall wellbeing.

Join us for this strong and fun Yoga based fusion class, tailor -made for runners, hikers and all outdoor enthusiast looking to enhance their game through mindful cross-training.  

We will flow through a variety of sequences that will move you in new and different ways to increase your strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, mental focus and overall fitness.

You will leave this class with a heightened body awareness and a list of simple movements you can easily incorporate in your daily routine, setting you on a path of continued recovery and physical well being so you can keep doing what you love feeling your best form.
