Offerings

It is truly my passion and sincere wish to share with you what I’ve learned – both physically and mentally – over these past 20 years. I blend my experience and daily routine of running, hiking, yoga, and meditation to bring you the same well-being, calm and joy that has been life-changing for me.

 

I hope that through my hiking sessions, daily retreats, and yoga practices, you will feel refreshed and grounded, with a peace and stillness that will carry you on whatever life journey you may be facing. 

Please note that all my Day Retreats are in small groups to ensure everyone's well being. Half and full-day Hike & Yoga retreats can include a nutritious and delicious lunch, locally-sourced and supporting small businesses.

HIKING EVENTS

Spring Rucking Series

March 2nd, 23rd, April 20th and May 5th (now Sunday due to rain forecasted Saturday!) 2024 | 9:00 - 12:00 pm 

 

Rucking, hiking with a weighted backpack, is a fabulous way to improve strength, cardiovascular capacity, caloric burn, balance and bone density. Weight bearing exercise without a gym and while you enjoy being outdoors and on the trails. We will meet as a group, load our packs with weight ranging from 5-20 pounds and embark on a scenic 6-8 mile hike. Option to  join hike without the weight as well.

$35 per session, includes guided hike, weights and snacks.

Celebrate Earth Day with a Free Hike on Mount Tam

Monday April 22nd, 9am-12pm

Join us in community for a moderate 6-8 mile hike, starting and ending at the Mountain Home Inn in Mill Valley, to celebrate Earth Day and our amazing backyard. 

This hike is FREE of charge with an optional donation to the "Friend of Mount Tam" organization- the volunteer ambassadors in support of Mount Tam State Park keeping our trails beautiful.

Discover the true essence of core strength in our “Empower Your Core” yoga class. This class goes beyond traditional ab workouts and delves into the comprehensive world of core muscles that encompasses your entire midsection. We’ll explore the pelvis, glutes, hips, back and front muscles of your torso - the central part of your body, sometimes likened to the trunk of a tree.  

Like a sturdy tree with strong roots and a solid trunk, a well-developed core is the foundation for the rest of your body’s movements. By engaging and strengthening this vital area, you’ll experience enhanced balance, stability and overall physical health. 

We will flow through a series of dynamic and mindful poses designed to activate and challenge all aspects of our core. Learn how to properly engage each muscle group, preventing your body from relying only on the strongest muscles, safeguarding against overuse and achieving balance.  

Whether you are a seasoned yogi or beginner, the increased power, flexibility and mobility will enrich your daily life and elevate your overall wellbeing.

Uli’s private hikes program offers you or your private group the opportunity to build your own adventure.   Whether you are looking to getting back into hiking, improving your current hiking skills and condition,  explore new territory or prepare for an upcoming trek, I offer customized outings to help you reach your hiking goals.  Ideas for private group outings include Corporate Team building Events, Birthday Hikes with or without Yoga, Children’s Nature and Yoga, Girlfriends Day Out, Wedding Party, Anniversaries, Family or Friendship Reunions.
