At the heart of my work is a deep love for movement, nature, and meaningful connection. Through UliK Hike & Yoga, I offer guided hikes—with or without yoga—on some of Marin’s most breathtaking trails, alongside weekly classes and workshops at Metta Yoga Studios, recently named Best Yoga Studio in Marin.
I also host day retreats that blend hiking and yoga for a deeply nourishing reset. In addition, I specialize in private events, personalized retreats, and one-on-one sessions—whether you are training for a specific trek, looking to deepen your practice, or simply craving time to reconnect in a supportive, tailored setting.​
It is truly my passion and sincere wish to share with you what I’ve learned – both physically and mentally – over these past 25 years. I blend my experience and daily routine of running, hiking, yoga, pilates and meditation to bring you the same well-being, calm and joy that has been life-changing for me.

Sunday Morning on the Trail - A Pre-Spring Reset
February 8th and March 15th
8:30am - 1:00pm

As we move toward spring, I’m offering two special Sunday morning hikes designed to help you reset, reconnect, and move your body in a way that feels both strong and nourishing.
One hike will take us into the mountains, where steady climbing, quiet trails, and wide views invite clarity, resilience, and a sense of perspective.
The other leads us along the coast, following a scenic ridgeline with sweeping views of the ocean and city below. The pace will be steady and accessible, allowing us to move continuously while also taking time to pause, breathe, and take in the expansive landscape.
Both hikes will be about 8–10 miles --- not rushed, not overly structured, but thoughtfully guided.
Group size limited to 10 - intentionally small, creating space for ease, conversation, shared silence, and a more connected experience on the trail.

YOGA CLASSES
My classes offer a unique blend of Vinyasa and Yogalates - a fusion of Yoga and Mat Pilates - designed to build strength, enhance mobility, and support balanced movement.
My offerings change frequently and include in-Studio classes at Metta Yoga Studios and Cloudbreak Yoga in Marin County, specialty Workshops as well as private or semi private Zoom classes. If you are new to Yoga and shy away from studios, let me help you to start your own yoga journey.

Discover the true essence of core strength in our “Empower Your Core” Yoga Fusion class. This class goes beyond traditional ab workouts and delves into the comprehensive world of core muscles that encompasses your entire midsection. We’ll explore the pelvis, glutes, hips, back and front muscles of your torso - the central part of your body, sometimes likened to the trunk of a tree.
Like a sturdy tree with strong roots and a solid trunk, a well-developed core is the foundation for the rest of your body’s movements. By engaging and strengthening this vital area, you’ll experience enhanced balance, stability and overall physical health.
We will flow through a series of dynamic and mindful poses designed to activate and challenge all aspects of our core. Learn how to properly engage each muscle group, preventing your body from relying only on the strongest muscles, safeguarding against overuse and achieving balance.

Join us for this strong and fun Yoga based fusion class, tailor -made for runners, hikers and all outdoor enthusiast looking to enhance their game through mindful cross-training.
We will flow through a variety of sequences that will move you in new and different ways to increase your strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, mental focus and overall fitness.
You will leave this class with a heightened body awareness and a list of simple movements you can easily incorporate in your daily routine, setting you on a path of continued recovery and physical well being so you can keep doing what you love feeling your best form.

Mobility is the key to moving better, not just more. This class blends yoga, functional mobility work, and mindful strength to restore fluidity, balance, and presence.
Together we’ll open key areas: hips, spine, shoulders, and ankles - so your movement feels fresher, your body more resilient, and your mind more present.
This is more than stretching, it’s about finding freedom through control, creating space in the joints, and learning to move with strength, ease, and awareness. Through gentle, mindful flow and mobility-based drills, we’ll release stiffness, undo the effects of travel and holiday busyness, and nurture strength through control and awareness.
Ideal for winter recovery, ski prep, or simply tending to your body’s well-being during the colder months, this practice builds strength in your range of motion and nourishes both body and mind.
